Method 3: Using a Hair Dryer
If you have a hair dryer handy, you can use it to inflate your pool float. But this way is a little dangerous if you are not careful, be noted about the temperture, what you use is cool wind. Follow these steps:
Step1: Gather materials
You will need a hair dryer and a funnel or a piece of cardboard rolled into a cone shape.
Step2: Open the valve
Locate the air valve on your pool float and open it.
Step3: Attach the funnel
Place the narrow end of the funnel or cone into the valve opening.
Step4: Set up the hair dryer
Plug in the hair dryer and set it to the cool setting. Do not use heat, as it can damage your pool float.
Step5: Direct air into the valve
Turn on the hair dryer and hold the nozzle against the wide end of the funnel or cone, directing the air into the valve.
Step6: Inflate the float
Continue directing air into the pool float until fully inflated.
Step7: Close the valve
Once the float is inflated, quickly turn off the hair dryer, remove the funnel, and close the valve cap.
